  • New resources for agriculture-based businesses
  • New published research on the impact of COVID-19 for artistsinnovation-led startups and those who are self-employed
  • Tips for business owners on post-crisis leadership, closing a business and reopening, as well as a specific reopening guide for facilities and retailers

Financing News

  • Updated grant opportunities on the Funding and Financing Page: The list is LONG, so we’ve organized it by city/region, state, national opportunities and by industry (innovation/tech, agriculture/farming, arts, restaurants/bars, crowdfunding, loans and grants).

  • Missouri is accepting applications for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance. This “Navigator is In” video provides a quick overview of PUA, who qualifies and how businesses should prepare before they apply online with the Missouri Department of Labor.

  • Additional Paycheck Protection Program funding was available on 4/27. In Missouri, 32,252 total loans have been approved for PPP Round 2, which equates to $1,695,268,247 approved dollars, according to new numbers from the SBA. Nationally, $2.2 million in loans for Round 2 have been made to small businesses with an average loan size of $79,000.
The Chamber Annual Chamber Banquet is canceled for 2020, however, we will be having a virtual awards ceremony for all the nominations!

  • Sinks/Medley Pharmacy: A note to our awesome customers, We are excited for our local businesses and their staff to be able to reopen today, and we are one step closer to getting back to normal. Be reassured that this is only temporary, and we will be reopening our store fronts in the near future. We also want to thank all of you for your support and compassion during these unprecedented times.
We're excited to offer Contactless Pick-up starting May 11!

As we seek to return to a sense of normalcy, Crawford County Library District is committed to providing resources in the safest recommended methods.
