Will Parson's New Zealand nature photos, our new tour & eco dog!

New Zealand Piwakawaka on a Harakeke flower stem.

Hi, don’t you love this little guy, he is a Piwakawaka or black fantail that
I recently photographed in our garden near the accommodation. Fantails are very friendly and this one dropped down to say hello, maybe that is why in Maori mythology, they are considered messengers for the Gods.  You can see more of my latest bird and wildlife photos by clicking here.

Our new tour 'Whitebait by Kayak', a first for New Zealand.

Will and Vix take a look at Geoff's whitebait catch.

We have just released a new tour called 'Whitebait by Kayak', it is all about meeting local personalities on the riverside and being part of the New Zealand way of life. These are the kinds of real kiwi experiences we love to share. Click here to have a look at the blog photos, they are fun! If you are interested in the tour you can Click here for more details

Meet Gussy our new eco dog.

Gussy snoozes after his first kayak tour.

We are very excited to announce that we have a new eco dog Gussy, who has joined our super star Vix who loves to come on kayak tours and greet guests (and eat muffins). Gus has taken his maiden voyage with our lovely guests Michaela and Henry and he only fell in twice.  He is a natural water dog.

Happy days to you all, until next time. Do keep in touch with us via face book or twitter, links to them can be found below and please share our nature photos with your friends.

Cheers, Will, Rose.
