BALCONY BAR NOW OPEN
If you visited us during our panto (which we’re sure you have!), you may have noticed our Balcony Bar has been re-opened after being closed for nearly 20 years. We know how busy our bar area can get, so we’ve fitted the Balcony Bar with ales on draught, wine and other refreshments and treats to make sure you can quench that thirst during the performance interval. We’ve got big plans for this new space, so the next time you come and see one of our wonderful shows, just go up the stairs when you're in the Box Office foyer and say hello!

Name: Laura Hibbert

Role: Marketing Assistant (Theatres)

What do you do?
I am the newly appointed Theatres Marketing Assistant, employed to help improve communication between the theatre and its audience, and to get more people like you to come to our brilliant shows!

What do you like about working for Rotherham Theatres?
The people! Working with the Rotherham Theatres team means there's always someone to bounce ideas off and ask for help. The customers are great too; the Civic is so lucky to have such a loyal and supportive audience.

What is your favourite show coming to Rotherham Theatres Spring/Summer and why?
I would have to say The Phantom of the Opera coming in March 2014. It was one of the first musicals I went to see in the West End, and I have been addicted to theatre ever since. I've heard great things about the Rotherham Teachers Student Academy too, so I would like to see what they're all about.
ON-LINE BOOKING
Our newly improved Rotherham Theatres website and on-line ticket system went live in June 2013, and has proved to be a great hit with all of you. We're adding new features all the time, so the next time you book your tickets on-line, have a look to see if you can pre-order your programme and interval ice-cream for the show. It’s a great way for you beat the rush, and save a few pennies!
As it's our first ever e-newsletter, we would love to know what you think!
