PRESCRIPTION DRUG TAKEBACK DAY: Please stop in and discard all of your unwanted and unused prescription medications for safe and proper disposal. NARCAN training sessions will also be available. Be the one to help save lives!
MMIWG - NO MORE STOLEN SISTERS: March & Ceremony to be held on Thursday, May 5 at Generations Park from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
MMIWG: Thursday, May 5th, 2022. Join the Three Sisters Program and the Seven Dancers Coalition to help increase the visibility and awareness of Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two Spirit. Let's all light up the night in Akwesasne with red porch lights at businesses and homes!
HAVE YOU TAKEN OUR SURVEY? The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe-Environment Division Land Resources Program has started a Native Plants Nursery for the community of Akwesasne. A Native Plant Nursery involves the propagation and maintenance of plants, shrubs, and trees that are considered native and/or non-invasive to this region. This survey will assess the level of interest throughout the community of Akwesasne.

PHOTO CONTEST: The Akwesasne Coalition for Community Empowerment is hosting a community photo contest! Participants will receive a prize entry for every photo submitted. NOTE: Deadline to submit photos is May 2, 2022.
VACCINE CLINIC NEW HOURS AND LOCATION: Health Services will be relocating the Wednesday vaccine clinic to their main building at 404 State Route 37. Individuals ages 5-years old or more can receive a COVID-19 vaccine between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. No appointment is needed.

We are taking each posted position on a case-by-case basis, in terms of continuing in the process as is; or re-posting of any position that may be in the process.
This will be a joint decision between Human Resources staff and the Hiring
Authority (Supervisor).
