Happy Thanksgiving Everyone,
I trust this finds you having enjoyed the warm weather this past week and preparing to consider all the things we are thankful this year. We have held three services in the sanctuary and these are going very well in spite of the changes and adaptations we have had to make.  We will continue to review and adapt where we are able.  Please know your presence is valued and welcomed regardless of where you are sitting Sunday morning.  Without Coffee Time in the building as we have once known, the post-service time may feel foreign.  It does for me also.  But we strive to maintain a caring connection with one another.  Please feel free to visit at a distance and we can carry our time together into the parking lot in nice weather.  Having two groups part of every service, there are two places for me to be present and sometimes I will be in the parking lot and other times I will be with the Zoomers.  Please do not hesitate to get intouch with me if you wish to have a visit.  I am looking forward to our first Thanksgiving together on Sunday and hope to see you "there".
Peace to you all,

A thank you from the Mission & Service Fund

We are grateful to the people of Winfield United Church who have generously given $14, 246.00 in 2019 to enable life-saving and life-changing work through our shared Mission & Service. M&S takes on new importance as the church responds to the worldwide COVID-19 crisis.  In-person outreach programs closed by social distancing have been replaced by food distribution and finding safe homes for people who are homeless.  Hospital chaplaincy, virtual camps and education programs are just some of the ways the United Church is responding to the pandemic. Your gifts to Mission & Service makes all this possible.

Thank you!
