There is more to life

than going and doing.

Our hearts know this.

Children know this.

The wind knows this.

The sky and earth know this.

Sit for a spell, dear one.

Listen to the rain fall

and watch the leaves.

Look for a bird.

Feel the air.

Tend to a space for yourself

at the center of your own life

where your soul stretches out

to meet the sacred/Goddess.

Allow yourself to be at peace

as often as you can.

This week's shop update includes some more We'Moon 2023 datebooks, Fall Logbooks, October prayerbooks (early!), and this month's patron-exclusive kit as well as a few more Fall Leaves goddesses!

This week's magic! Blog posts and resources:

What we are...

Reading:

  • Just Started: Roar Like a Goddess
  • Trickster Tales from Around the World (to kids for literature class)
  • Comb of Wishes (to kids)
  • Almost Finished: Don't Just Sit There, Do Nothing
  • Just Finished: Escape from Falaise (to kids)

Listening to:

  • Danielle Laporte podcast on being less botherable
  • Mara Glatzel podcast on boundaries
  • On audio book: How to Do Nothing
  • Just Finished (on audio book): Esperanza Rising
  • Just Got (on audio book): Front Desk (for kids literature class)

Watching:

  • She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
  • Rings of Power
  • Just finished: World's Most Amazing Vacation Rentals.
  • Note: we gave up on Sandman after also giving up on Stranger Things, Witcher, and The Boys this year (all for the same reason: poked out eyes. No thanks. I do not need to fill my mind with that kind of image). As a whole, these are shows that we enjoyed and were interested in, but the need it seems like shows have to push the envelope with increasingly graphic violence is something we have to just draw a line with. I just do not want to go to sleep each night with my brain full of those kinds of pain.

Happy about:

  • Making a nifty new little opt-in kit: 9 ways to come back to the sacred!
  • Being back to homeschool co-op and having it go really well. I'm assisting with a crocheting class and a yoga class, which means I get to spend a dedicated hour each Tuesday on both crocheting and yoga, which is a pretty win-win deal for me. :)
  • Having spent a fun week at Table Rock Lake with our extended family, including a pontoon boat excursion (and whole family swimming in 150+ feet deep lake water).

Working on:

  • Helping our oldest son get established with his college routine. It is going really well so far! We're all feeling great!
  • All new videos for October Magic (stay tuned for more info, but we are doing a discounted offer with code: 30days!).
  • November #30DaysofGoddess prayerbooks!

Thinking about:

Looking forward to:
  • Gaea Goddess Gathering in Kansas next week! I'll get to meet and hang out with Caryn from the Divine Feminine App! And, I'm presenting a workshop about crafting a daily practice!
Today is another opportunity
to collaborate with life's magic,
to step into mystery,
to open ourselves to joy,
to wander into delight
and discover what we can.

Thank you so much for being here!

Much love,

Molly, Mark, + Family
