Dear Friends of Firelighters,
Welcome to the final day of The Northwest Firelight Chorale’s “We’ll Meet Again” Pledge Drive! Thank you to those that have already pledged $16,435, or 33% of our goal. We need your help to grow towards our $50,000 goal and spread our hopeful musical message before our pledge drive ends at 9pm tonight.
Our mission is to open people's hearts to love and healing through inspired rehearsals and performances of soul-stirring music. Now more than ever our world needs love and healing, and now more than ever before the Northwest Firelight Chorale needs your support.
We have lost more than half our annual budget to the global pandemic: We now estimate well upwards of $50,000 because our ticket sales partner, also struggling as a result of COVID-19 cancellations, has not been able to pay us more than $14,000 owed in ‘Road Trip’ donations.
Our response to this financial uncertainty is the "We'll Meet Again" Project, a pledge drive built on our commitment to joy and to community outreach and to contributing to real social change (10% of profits go to Black Lives Matter Seattle-King County and Plymouth Housing).
Every day of our pledge drive, Firelighter Features have transported us down memory lane to a time before Zoom rehearsals, before social distancing, before the calculated risk of connection. Today we are excited to share a final series of videos exploring our past, present, and future:
Please share these videos widely and click here to pledge if you can.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support. Your generosity means we can continue to bring love and healing to a virtual world until that sunny future day when "We’ll Meet Again".
