We serve Turner Valley, Black Diamond, Longview, Millarville & Priddis & the surrounding M.D.

OUR NEW PROTOCOL

Our hours remain 1-3 on Tuesdays for pickup of hampers.
If you need a hamper & have used the Food Bank before,
please call us that morning with your request.

Volunteers will prepare your hamper & deliver it to your vehicle when you arrive.

If it is your first time using
the Food Bank
please bring proof of your resident address (i.e. utility bill etc)
during our Tues. hours & we will complete the in-take process.

Folks will be asked to wait outside to limit contact & ensure
the safety of our users & volunteers alike.

Today, our first Tuesday since the pandemic, was very busy.
We prepared 19 hampers, most of them for families.

We are asking for donations of empty egg cartons & plastic grocery bags.

We are also asking our clients to please provide their own bags, & egg cartons if they are able.

Our volunteers are AWESOME!

Our community is CARING!

Our clients are truly being hugged by everyone when they come for a hamper...though currently the hug has an appropriate amount of social distancing & no actual physical contact!

IT'S BUSINESS AS USUAL.
