PROJECTS

Students at the Kabasa and Mekomariro Secondary Schools in the Bunda District of Tanzania are days away from having a new SPARC + computer lab. Our team has received the equipment, is traveling to the schools this week and plans to complete installation of the labs next week.

Potential Enhancement Foundation (PEF), our Tanzanian counterpart, has designed a new training program and has been piloting it at the Sazira School since January. More than 200 students have received training on office productivity applications, digital library resources, and computer hardware and software. Next year, PEF will expand this training to include community residents.

Please help us with our next project in the Serengeti -- an installation of a SPARC computer lab at the Rigicha School! Mr. Sabasaba Moshingi, CEO of Tpb Bank (formerly Tanzania Postal Bank), has pledged $5,000 for this new lab, and the school will contribute a secure room with tables and chairs to house the lab.

As Mr. Moshingi says: “Any support that can be offered ... to expand [PPI and PEF’s] noble servic
es in Tanzania is highly appreciated.

Please help us raise $14,000 to fully fund this project
&
get computers into the hands of Serengeti students.
