Citroen 2CV 2019

Celebrating 30 years of 2CV racing and 100 years of Citroen.

Enjoy the idea of 2CV racing and ready to give it a try?
Alec Graham is always very interested to hear from you if you have a 2CV race car that you might wish to sell, or to hire out for the 24 Hr. In 2018 96 drivers raced in the 2CVParts.com Championship. We already know of new race cars being built and others refurbished, so we expect yet more 602’s on the grid in 2019.

Mid-October Spa 2CV 24 Hour 2019, run by 2CVRT
UK Club class 602’s cars are welcome to race alongside the local Classique Class, UK Hybrids and the other classes. Only local C1’s, and, it is said, no UK C1’s to be invited.

All the UK cars this year were BMW powered. The race welcomes entries from UK Club class 602cc cars, let's get a few on the grid. One 602 has already confirmed.

And finally: Matt Hollis beats new Williams F1 driver George Russell
Back in 2014 George needed signatures on his licence from early season races for the international series he was doing that year. So his dad hired a racing 2CV from Wayne Cowling of Team Gadget, to race with us at Oulton Park. He did jolly well with no experience, but Matt Hollis is very proud that he got by him on the last bend to win. We’ll all be following progress in George’s first year with Team Willie. Watch that race here.
The Club’s Commercial Partners
Their contributions help fund the 24 Hour Race Radio which will webcast the race commentary with a new live digital video system being pioneered by Lester Forbes, Director of Motorsport Media.
