Friday, Oct 29, 4:30pm
Bring the kids in costume to 4th & Main (by the Post Office), then parade down the center of Main Street, and then trick or treat at the downtown businesses! The event ends when the businesses run out of candy!

A Nightmare on Main Street

October 1-30
Join the library for a spooky literary walk in collaboration with 13 Hamilton businesses. Look for a poster board with a spooky/Halloween related short story, riddle, song, or poem, followed by a challenge. Write the answer to the puzzle in your answer booklet (available at Bitterroot Library) then return your booklet to the Library and claim your prize!

Liquid Apple Night

Saturday, Oct 2, 5-9pm
Sample delicious cider created by cider makers from the Rocky Mountain northwest, locally catered food, and live music by Night Blooming Jasmine. This event will take place on the Museum grounds, in the evening, under the beautiful Montana sky. Burn barrels and propane heaters will be available for keeping warm and toasty! The Great (2021) Scavenger Hunt

The second annual, Hamilton Players team-based scavenger hunt that encourages creativity and teamwork …and some FUNdraising! Teams will have one week to complete as many of the tasks on the list as possible in the most creative ways imaginable! Create your team (about 4 people), enroll in the event, wait for the email with tasks to arrive on Oct 4, then start hunting!

42nd Annual Apple Day

Saturday, Oct 2, 9am-3pm
Hailed as the Biggest Bake Sale Under the Big Sky, the Annual McIntosh Apple Day Festival is not one to be missed! This time honored and well loved festival was recently named one of Montana’s Best Fall Festivals, by National Geographic Traveler Online and as one of the Top Festivals in the United States, by Flight Network! Enjoy arts, crafts, food & produce from our local Hamilton Farmers Market as well as new vendors from outside the area. The highlight of the day is our signature Bake Sale. Hand-picked, locally grown Apples are lovingly crafted into made-from-scratch Apple pies.

Ruthie Foster - Live Performance

Saturday, Oct 16, 8pm
Hailing from the tightly knit musical community of Austin, Texas, award-winning singer-songwriter Ruthie Foster has found herself duetting with Bonnie Raitt, standing on stage with the Allman Brothers at New York’s Beacon Theater, and trading verses with Sudan Tedeschi. Ruthie has been nominated for four Grammys, and has won multiple Blues Music and Austin Music Awards, plus the Grand Prix du Disque from Academie Charles-Cros in France.

Romancing the West Documentary Concert

Romancing the West: How the West was Sung is a critically acclaimed “time-traveling” documentary concert that attendees will get to enjoy in the Living Room of the Daly Mansion! Ropes Challenge Course

Pumpkin Patch now open! We anticipate this being a quick season due to high demand and lower than normal production and encourage everyone to come out early! Hours: Mon-Wed 3pm-7pm, Thur-Sat 9am-7pm, Sun 11am-pm. Hours apply until we run out of pumpkins. Free entry to bounce house, pumpkin train, and haystack.
