The Downtown Association is taking applications for this December’s Board Member election. There is one board seat available. Board members serve for a three year term. If you are interested in serving as a board member or would like to nominate a potential candidate please email us at the address below. Applications will be accepted until November 30th and the members present at the December 9th meeting will vote for the candidates.

HDA is seeking volunteers to help string the Christmas lights Sunday November 7th, on the trees and poles along Main street.

Instant Mimosas or Cocktails

Copper Poppy Boutique added a fun new product to the store: Teaspressa. These are sugar cubes that you can add to your drinks and create instant mimosas, cocktails or hot chocolate. They have less than a tsp of sugar and are about 16 calories per cube.

Veterans Day Program

Thursday, Nov 11, 2pm
In Honor of our Veterans, Ravalli County Museum hosts an annual Veteran’s Day Observance Ceremony on the lawn of the museum. All are welcome for the laying on of the wreaths at the Doughboy, a gun salute and program speakers. Entirely outdoors this year, so dress warmly. Email to sponsor this event.

Empty Bowls Soup and Bread Luncheon

Saturday, Nov 13, 11-2pm
Tickets are on sale now for Empty Bowls Fundraiser Luncheon at St. Francis Parish Center from 11-2 pm. Tickets are $25 and available at Clay Works! studio and Chapter One Book Store. This is a grassroots movement by artists and crafts people in cities around the world to care for and feed the hungry in their communities. ClayWorks! In the Bitterroot along with local businesses sponsor the Empty Bowls Soup and Bread Luncheon. Attendees may choose a handmade pottery bowl to remember all those who are hungry. Proceeds of the event go to support local projects.

Envision Hamilton

As part of the comprehensive plan update, the City of Hamilton is hosting in-person and virtual land use workshops. These workshops will explore growth opportunities and constraints, discuss benefits and trade offs, and provide an engaging opportunity to discuss Hamilton’s future! Each workshop will cover the same content but will take place at various times to meet differing schedules.
 - In-Person Workshops will be held at Hamilton City Hall: Tuesday Nov 9th: 9:00am, 12:00pm, OR 6:00pm

Holly Jolly Artisan Craft Show

The Holly Jolly Artisan Craft Show is back in the Daly Mansion this year! Come shop for the holidays with over 3o local artisans and their high-quality, handmade wares while taking in the atmosphere of the Daly Mansion decorated for the holiday season. There will be vendors on all 3 floors featuring jewelry, wood crafts, ornaments, chocolate, bath & body, ceramics and more! Friday, November 19th & Saturday November 20th  from 10am-5pm. $5 at the door, youth 12 and under get in Free.

Webinar Series, COVID-19 Conversations with Montana Experts

MSU Extension is hosting a series of Conversations with Montana Experts on different aspects of Covid-19. The webinar series will provide an opportunity for Montanans to hear directly from doctors, researchers and other healthcare experts about virology, immunization research, lab testing, health communication, vaccine hesitancy and other public health topics.

John Cleary - Live Performance

Friday, Nov 19, 8pm
Jon Cleary’s love and affinity for New Orleans music goes back to the rural British village of Cranbrook, Kent, where he was raised in a musical family. In 1981 Cleary flew to New Orleans for an initial pilgrimage and took a cab straight from the airport to the Maple Leaf Bar, where he first worked as a painter, but soon graduated to playing piano there.
