Tracking Progress with the Table of Validated & Accepted Alternative Methods

This month we updated our Table of Validated & Accepted Alternative Methods, one of the most-used pages on the website. As many AltTox users already know, this table provides a comprehensive list of alternative methods endorsed by ICCVAM (United States), EURL ECVAM (European Union), and/or JaCVAM (Japan). Relevant OECD Test Guidelines are also identified in the Table. First published on AltTox in December 2007, the Table remains one of the only available resources that integrates endorsements by all three major validation authorities for all toxicity endpoints. Our latest "In the Spotlight" article provides a brief overview of the creation and maintenance of this valuable resource, and summarizes the most significant updates to this version of the Table.  Read more here.
