Eating Disorder Recovery Group
An Integral Part of Your Treatment
Every Wednesday from 6-7:30pm
Take the next step in your eating disorder recovery journey.

This group provides a supportive and contained space to build new skills, increase insight, and explore challenges related to the eating disorder recovery process. There will be regular targeted interventions pertaining to one’s relationship with food, the body, and society.
 
You can look forward to discovering who you are beyond your eating disorder, learning to honor yourself in your healing journey, and forming new relationships.

Healing Through Movement:

A Two Day Workshop and More!

Cortical Field Re-Education (CFR) is a system of healing through learning that increases attention and heightens perception. This new kinesthetic input communicates to the nervous system what it is habitually doing out of awareness and creates effective lasting change.

This gentle movement workshop will teach you how to recognize and rewire physical and behavioral patterns for pain-free function and pleasure.
 

Two Day Workshop:
Friday, September 20, 5:30-9PM
Saturday, September 21, 9AM-5PM for new and continuing students
Where: The New Beginnings Center, Suite R
Cost: Day 1: $125. Day 2: $250 or $350 for both days

Evening Sessions
When
: Wednesdays from 5:30-7PM

Staff Spotlight: Rachel McMurray, LMFT & Clinical Outreach Specialist
Rachel McMurray, MA, LMFT is lead clinical outreach specialist, a program therapist and program consultant at The New Beginnings Center. She specializes in treating those who struggle with eating disorders, personality disorders, chronic/complex post-traumatic stress disorder, self-injurious behaviors, and substance use disorders. Rachel brings to the Center a level of expertise in the above areas as a result of working throughout her career in eating disorder and substance use disorder rehabilitation centers. In addition to her work at the Center and in private practice, she provides multiple trainings on eating disorders and self-injury, creates programming/group protocols for treatment centers, and is a BBS-licensed supervisor. Rachel identifies openly as a person in recovery from an eating disorder and self-injury and brings this unique perspective to her work, creating an authentic sense of hope and connection with her clients. We're so pleased to have Rachel as a part of our clinical team and leading our community outreach. Please contact Rachel for more information about our programs and to schedule a staff tour at our Center. 
The New Beginnings Center offers an Intensive Outpatient Program and Outpatient Services to help you get started on your path to recovery from anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, body image issues, and beyond. In a safe, supportive environment you will experience tools and wisdom to assist you on your healing journey.
