THE EVOLUTION OF COWORKING
This edition is dedicated to a new trend in global workplace – CoWorking. While we have seen significant growth around the planet, the NZ scene is growing at a rapid rate and even leading in some areas.
Essentially, traditional offices are being leased to independent companies, who re-position the physical space and sublet them to tenants such as freelancers, entrepreneurs, start-ups and, increasingly, more established organisations. For a monthly fee, like-minded people (members) can hire a work area, be it a hot desk, dedicated desk or enclosed office depending on need. There is much, much, more to the trend – including the growing influence of community and digital on the workplace – so download NZ’s first ever CoWorking report here.
