CAM Academy's Ascha Nielsen wins Fire District 3 video contest
Congratulations to CAM Academy 7th grader Ascha Nelson on winning Fire District 3's Fire Safety Video contest!
Students in grades K-12 were instructed to research one of four fire safety topics and creatively construct a fire safety video that depicts the students carrying out these practices correctly. Ascha's winning video was about creating a home evacuation plan, which you can watch here.

Cross country, boys golf, boys tennis will open seasons on Feb. 1 in 4A and 3A GSHL

Let the meets and matches begin. But games might have to wait.
High school sports will start Feb. 1 for athletes in cross country, boys tennis and boys golf in the 4A and 3A Greater St. Helens Leagues. The status of other traditional fall sports will have to wait for improving COVID-19 metrics.
In an announcement Thursday, the leagues’ athletic directors outlined a return-to-play plan that closely aligns with the time frame announced last week by the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association. Read more on the Columbian's website.
