Kindergarten in-person learning begins Nov. 9

Battle Ground Public Schools is pleased to offer in-person learning to kindergartners enrolled in its traditional public schools beginning Monday, Nov. 9. For 2.5 hours a day, four days each week, we are going to provide an in-person learning experience that will help kindergartners progress. Please note that families can choose to continue learning remotely.

October is National Principals Month! Join us in celebrating all the amazing principals that we have in our schools all across the district, and share your message of appreciation using #ThankAPrincipal on your favorite social media sites. 

Prairie High School hosting a drive-thru 'Trunk-or-Treat' event Oct. 30 & 31

Looking for a Halloween activity for your family? Prairie High School's ASB is hosting a community drive-thru "Trunk or Treat" event this Friday and Saturday!

Check out the flyer for details, and if you plan to enter a car into the decoration contest, be sure to complete the sign up form.


Remember to vote by Nov. 3 (and there's still time to register)!

Clark County residents can register to vote until 8 p.m. on Election Day (Tuesday, Nov. 3). While the deadline to register online or via mail has passed, registration is available in-person at the elections office, 1408 Franklin St. in Vancouver. Visit the Clark County Elections website for more information. 

Already have your ballot but still need to return it? There are 22 permanent ballot drop boxes located throughout the county, including at Amboy Middle and Yacolt Primary schools. Click here for a full list of all 22 drop box locations.

Many positions are available now, including a speech language pathologist, a COVID isolation room attendant, two swing shift custodians, a licensed practical nurse, a reading para-educator, a transportation router, a gym recreation facilitator, a community education Launch program facilitator, community education referee/support staff, assistant coaches for girls basketball; cheer team; swimming; and boys and girls soccer; and various certificated and classified substitutes.
