Join us in thanking our amazing counselors this week!

It's National School Counseling Week and to celebrate, we want to send a BIG THANK YOU to all* of our counselors in recognition of the tremendous impact they have in helping our students achieve school success and plan for their careers. Please join us and take some time this week to let your school counselors know that you appreciate the important work they do for our kids!

*Not pictured are Alice Norton, Annie Carmichael, Sheryl Piper, Stacie Syverson, and Nathan Simons. While we don't have school photos of these counselors to include here, we appreciate them just as much as all those pictured here!

WIAA State Cheerleading Tournament returns to Battle Ground this weekend

This Friday and Saturday, Feb. 7 and 8, Battle Ground High School is once again hosting the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association's (WIAA) State Cheerleading Tournament. There are roughly 80 qualified schools expected to deliver well over 100 team performances, and we are looking forward to welcoming so many schools and visitors to our wonderful community! Last year's tournament saw a record number of teams participating, which brought roughly 5,000 visitors to Battle Ground. With this year's tournament being similar in size and scope, it's another excellent opportunity to showcase what a special community we have.

If you're interested in attending the tournament and are looking for tickets, the complete performance schedules, or have general questions about what's allowed at the tournament, please visit the WIAA's Fan Link page

100th day of school is cause to celebrate for primary students

This week marked the 100th day of the 2019-20 school year (Feb. 5 for South schools and Feb. 6 for North), and district primary school students celebrated in style! The annual tradition is always favorite among staff and students. These youngsters at CAM Academy (with 3rd grade teacher Angela Borges) dressed like centenarians to mark the momentous occasion.
