Fall into Autumn at Gorges State Park

Fall is a favorite season for outdoor recreation. With moderate temperatures and beautiful foliage, who wouldn't want to enjoy the natural wonders this time of year?!

What better way to get outside than to book a camping trip at the newly-completed Campground at Gorges State Park! Check out the Park Updates for additional information and registration.

Seeking Board Members
As we slip toward the season of giving thanks and giving back, consider giving back to our local State Park. FOG is seeking folks who are passionate about the future of Gorges State Park. Board members assist in the decisions FOG acts on in the interest and direct response to Gorges State Park.
New Board Member: Susan Banta
You may have noticed a friendly new face assisting both FOG and the front desk at Gorges State Park. Meet Mrs. Susan Banta, the newest member of the FOG board!

Susan retired from a 38-year career in public relations and communications in 2022, and came out of retirement a few months later to work the front desk at the Gorges Visitor Center. She and husband Tim love spending time with their family and friends, especially their grandchildren, and hiking with them to adventures in the woods and visiting waterfalls wherever they can.

Be sure to say hi the next time you see Susan at the Visitor Center!
