Seniors

Monitor your application portals and when colleges will release their admission decisions.  Review the cost of attendance for each college that admits you. Please continue working hard in all of your classes as senior year grades are important and considered by colleges. Moreover, the way you finish high school is the best predictor for how you will begin your college career.

Juniors

Request letters of recommendation for your college applications. Typically, students request letters from two academic teachers. If you have a major commitment outside of school, a third letter from someone who knows you well may be appropriate. Additionally, your high school counselor will write a letter for you so make sure you are taking the time to get to know the counselor at your school. Participate in a virtual college fair. NACAC is hosting virtual fairs this month. Click HERE for information. Note: Visual & Performing Arts fair on March 16 and a College Fair on March 21. Register for an ACT or SAT. Create your Common Application account.
