Seniors
As you complete your final semester of high school, make sure to thank the people who helped you along the way. Do not get senioritis - remember, the work you do this year is the best predictor of the kind of work you will do in college.
Ensure that you are spending your time focusing on the colleges that said YES. As your time allows, make campus visits and participate in virtual admitted student programs. Juniors
Prior to the summer, there are some major tasks you should complete:
1) Request two academic letters of recommendation. Occasionally, a third letter of recommendation may be appropriate - speak with the CACG folks or your school counselor to discuss this option.
2) Finalize your resume to date - check in with Nataly Lambert if you have not already.
3) Begin work on your Common Application.

If you have not already, confirm your classes for 10th grade. Take the most challenging course load you are confident you can succeed in. Remember, many high schools have a drop/add period for the first two weeks of school. You can utilize this period to your advantage, as sometimes it is wise to try a demanding class and move down if needed.
