Area Prayer Meetings
Area prayer groups are meeting via Webex or Zoom. This is organised by the area representative jointly with Achen. Each Area rep will inform via the area whatsApp group, the date, time and how to join the meeting .
The South Area Prayer Group will meet (12th Sep 2020) at 7pm.

Achen continues to send daily devotion via WhatsApp and I believe it has been a great source of comfort to all of us. If you are not receiving it please let me or achen know.

Church Souvenir:As part of the preparations for our Church consecration, we are planning to issue a Souvenir to commemorate the occasion. We now have a Souvenir committee under the leadership of our Achen as the President, Mr. Cyril John (Convenor), Mr. Aji Chacko, Mr. Sajan Varampel, Mrs. Sherine George, Mr. Ronny Eappen, plus Dr. K John (Vice President), Mr. Shiju Thomas (Trustee Finance), Mr. P. K. Edison (Trustee Accountant), Mr. Sibu Thomas (Secretary) as Ex-officio members.
We are looking for articles and advertisements for the souvenir. Please contact any of the committee members. Last date to submit articles is 25th Sep 2020. The Souvenir Committee will make the final decision on the publishing of the content of the articles.

GDPR Consent Forms:In order for us to be GDPR compliance, we request all our families to complete the consent forms for safe keeping in the Church records. The respective Area reps will be reaching out to each of you regarding this. Please support this effort, such that we can complete this exercise in a timely manner.
Harvest Festival:Given the current restrictions, it has been decided by the EC to move our Harvest Festival celebrations to early next year (February or March 2021, exact date to be confirmed later).
Ms. Tina Paul and Mr. Ashok Thomas have been nominated as our Harvest Festival Conveners. We will be having a Harvest Festival Raffle, with the draw aimed towards December. Please support and help towards this cause.
Sunday School Updates
Sunday school singing will commence from 20th September 2020 (Sunday) from 10:00-10:15am. This will mean, our Sunday service will revert to the old start time of 10:15am.
The Sunday School Zonal VBS will be held online on 29th, 30th and 31st Oct 2020. Details will be shared separately.
Youth Fellowship Updates
Youth Mentoring Scheme: Thanks to the youths aged between 16-18 who have registered to be a part of the scheme. If there are any more youths interested, please register at the earliest or Contact Ms Shannon Mathew.
SENIOR YOUTH (23+): Are looking for more volunteers to be a part of our young people's support system. For further information, please contact Ms Anugraha Varughese or Youth Secretary Ms Aneeta John.
September Youth Meeting: The senior youths will be having a split youth meeting on the 13th September from 11:30-12:30pm. Mrs. Annie Kochamma will be the guest speaker. The topic is 'We are Ambassadors for Christ in Life' based on 2 Corinthians 5:11-20. All our senior youths are encouraged to attend.
Church Project Update
The remaining Church building works are progressing well.
We are in urgent need of funding support to progress our Landscaping, Main Gate installation and the furnishing of our Parsonage. We are also in need of small trees and plants for our Parsonage garden and Church landscaping. Any constructive input and feedback towards the same is welcome.

The funeral service of Mr T.C. Mathew (wife - Leelamma and children - Reena & Renji) will be held on 15th September 2020 as per details below.
Mr T.C. Mathew was a former member of our Church and later a member of Sinai Mar Thoma Church. Due to the current covid-19 situation and as per government guidelines, the funeral service has to be restricted to family and a limited number of close friends of the family. The service at home is for family only. The family sincerely apologise for this and are grateful for your thoughts and prayers at this time of pain and grief.
Please continue to support the church financially, especially whilst we are unable to assemble and receive your support through regular offertory, thanks giving offertory, subscriptions and other offerings.
