Response to the corona virus epidemic.
Achen is sending daily devotion via WhatsApp and I believe it has been a great source of comfort to all of us. If you are not receiving it please let me or achen know.
Although we are not able to meet in person, if you have any needs please do not hesitate to contact Achen, area representative, office bearers of the church and organisations.
The executive committee have met and set up a volunteer group consisting of Ashwin Chacko, Anisha Varughese, Rony Eapen, Iju Thomas, Alex M Mammootil and office bearers as ex-offico and respective area committee members as primary contact and to coordinate the efforts.
It is important at this time we extend practical help and support to our membership, neighbours and those who are badly affected. Given the social distancing guidelines and restriction on travel, it is best this to be organised on a local prayer group level. If you are aware or you yourself are in need of help please let Achen, Secretary or your area prayer group representative know.
Practical help can be anything from help with shopping, if you are self isolating, to help and advice with essential services and financial help for basic essentials. We have set aside a budget for this from our charity fund.
We have already helped couple of groups of overseas students with provision who are stranded in London due to travel restrictions.
If you would like to contribute to this fund, please do so. Church bank account details are given below.
A number of our members are suffering from Corona Virus. As you may know Mr PK Edison is making progress and still under. By the grace of God Edison is making progress and continuing with the treatment in hospital. Please continue to uphold in prayer Edison and also all our members and all those who affected by this virus in UK and worldwide. Please also continue to pray for those who are working in our NHS, care facilities and essential services.
Let us also thank God for keeping us all safe and those who have had the virus and recovered.
Edavaka mission Intercessory Prayer.
We will have intercessory prayer from 9 - 10 pm on every Wednesday. Next prayer will be on 20th May. Details on how to join will be send out on 19th May.
