Movie - "Amazing Love"

Amazing Love is a powerful movie about the Prophet Hosea which will be shown on Sunday, November 11th at 2:30pm. A youth leader teaches a group of teenagers on a weekend camping trip about the touching story of true commitment and unconditional love. Bring friends and youth!!      

Special Needs Dance

Our next community dance for those with special needs is Friday, November 9th, 7pm-9:30pm in Zirbel Hall. Enjoy music and refreshments. Questions, contact Pam Harrington at 562/430.8343.

Children

Wednesday Night Program

Preschool through 5th grades. Bring your family for dinner beginning at 5:45 to 6:25pm - $5.00 per person, $10.00 max per family. Program begins at 6:30pm. Childcare available for Life Groups, for nursery and toddler rooms. Email Michelle Heath, Director of Children's Ministries, at michelle@gspc.org.

Youth

High School / Middle School Programs

High School - Weekly programs on Sundays, 6-8pm. Room 3. Good conversation and good community for freshman through seniors!
Middle School - Weekly programs on Wednesdays, dinner at 5:45, program 6-8pm. (can bring dinner into the DEN). Worship, Bible Study, and Wacky Fun!

Adults

Request for Photos

If you will be attending Hope for the Holidays, our yearly service to remember those who have passed away, and would like a photo of your loved one to be included in the "In Memoriam" presentation, please scan a favorite photo including year of birth and death, to info@gspc.org or drop it off at the church office before Monday, November 19th. The photos will be shown on the screens during the service on Thursday, December 6th at 4pm.

GSPC Literary Women

Meets on Saturday, November 10th at 9:30am in the Fireside Room. Discussion topic is the non-fiction book The Day the World Came to Town by Jim DeFede. Join us!   

Women's Christmas Luncheon

The Women's Christmas Luncheon - "Eyes of Wonder" - with Laurie Short will be Saturday, December 1st in Zirbel Hall. Sign up to be a table hostess at the Women's Ministry table.   

Senior Adults

Annual Thanksgiving Dinner

The Annual Senior Thanksgiving Dinner will be Sunday, November 18th at 5pm, followed by a musical program "Countdown to Christmas" by Mike Chamberlain. Make your reservations at the Senior Ministry table on the patio.   

Senior Adult Ministries Day Trip

Join us on Sunday, December 9th, 12:30-5:30pm, for the "Magic of Christmas" at the La Mirada Performing Arts Theater. The Magic of Christmas is creatively produced, choreographed, and features state of the art costumes and festive scene changes. Cost: $69 per person. Sign up at the Senior Adult Ministry table on the patio.

Meets on Monday, November 5th at 7pm in the Round Room #4. All are welcome!   

Silent Auction - Women's Fundraiser  

Our silent auction, a major fundraiser at the Women's Christmas Luncheon for Women's Ministries, is coming up! Please donate your new or gently used items or gift cards to be in included in the baskets. Items can be dropped off in the church office or we can arrange to pick them up. Persecuted Christians  

Make a difference, serve God by writing cards and letters of encouragement and hope to fellow believers around the world. Pick up a folder of instruction and names at the Senior Ministry table on the patio. Letters are delivered by Open Doors Ministry. Return them to the Senior Ministry table or give them to Ken Purucker. Questions, call Ken at 562/594.6026.   

Thanksgiving Dinner Volunteers  

We are looking for a few great cooks for our annual Thanksgiving Dinner, from turkeys to pies, rolls to stuffing, servers and hostesses. Please stop by the table on the patio to see what is needed.  

COA Fundraiser
