Welcome to Deacon's Corner
Hi, I'm your Card Ministry Deacon, Heidi Butcher. On a regular basis a member of the Deacon team will share their ministry in our weekly Keeping Connected, highlighting services that we each perform. Our goal is to make all aware of resources the Deacon team provides to parishioners of Good Shepherd. The card deacon essentially provides just that: cards to those who have turned 80 or older, and couples who are celebrating at least 50 years of marriage. In addition, as publicly shared within prayer requests in the Bulletin, the card deacon will send a card to those who are undergoing surgery or dealing with illness, or a loss of a loved one. A heartfelt thanks goes out to all who have donated cards for this ministry!
