Springer Nature Open Access overeenkomst: jaarlijks quotum bereikt
Volgens de overeenkomst tussen Springer Nature en de VSNU (Vereniging van Nederlandse Universiteiten), mogen corresponderende auteurs van Nederlandse universiteiten tot 2.080 open access-artikelen per jaar publiceren zonder extra Artikel Processing Charges (APC’s).
Workshops & webinars....of een individuele afspraak
De CMB biedt maandelijks diverse workshops en webinars. Wist u dat u ook een individuele afspraak kunt maken voor hulp bij een zoekstrategie voor een (Systematish) Review of CAT? Dat kan op locatie of online via Zoom.
Hoe zit het ook alweer met boeken lenen?
U kunt boeken opzoeken in SmartCat en een afhaallocatie kiezen. U kunt ook gewoon langskomen en een boek uit de kast halen. We kunnen het boek ook naar uw werkplek opsturen.
Kijk ook eens bij de e-books op onderwerp, u heeft als UMCG-medewerker toegang tot duizenden e-books (ook van andere faculteiten).
Trial Springer protocols (life and biomedical sciences)
Tot en met 30 november heeft de RUG/UMCG een trial voor Springer Protocols. De handboeken verzamelen een uiteenlopende reeks stapsgewijze laboratoriummethoden en -protocollen uit de biowetenschappen en de biomedische wetenschappen. Lees verder

Springer Nature Open Access deal: annual quota reached
According to the agreement between Springer Nature and the VSNU (Association of Universities in the Netherlands), Dutch corresponding authors are allowed to publish up to 2,080 open access articles per year without additional article processing charges (APC).
Workshops & webinars or...an individual appointment
The CMB offers various workshops and webinars every month. Did you know that you can also make an individual appointment for help with a search strategy for a (Systematic) Review or CAT (Critically Appraised Topic)? You can schedule an appointment on location or online, via Zoom.
What about borrowing books?
You can look up books in SmartCat and choose a pick-up location. You can also just come by and pick up a book. We can also send the book to your workplace.
Take a look at the e-books by subject, as a UMCG employee you have access to thousands of e-books (also from other faculties).
Trial Springer protocols (life and biomedical sciences)
The RUG/UMCG offers a trial to Springer Protocols until 30 November. The protocol handbooks collect a diverse range of step-by-step laboratory methods and protocols from across the life and biomedical sciences. Read more
