Overeenkomst met PeerJ

De RUG heeft een overeenkomst afgesloten met het biomedische tijdschrift PeerJ. PeerJ werkt met een lifetime publishing plan per auteur ('pay once, publish for life'). Voor een eenmalig bedrag kan een onderzoeker voor het leven bij PeerJ publiceren.

De bibliotheek betaalt het lidmaatschap voor de eerste 36 RUG of UMCG-onderzoekers die een manuscript indienen bij PeerJ.

Agreement with PeerJ

The University has signed an agreement with the biomedical journal PeerJ. PeerJ offers a lifetime publishing plan per author ('pay once, publish for life'). For a non-recurring fee, researchers can publish in PeerJ for life.

The library pays the membership for the first 36 RUG or UMCG researchers who submit a manuscript to PeerJ.

Er is een nieuwe versie van de Journal Citation Reports. De belangrijkste wijzigingen:

• De tijdschriften staan binnen de categorieën meteen gerangschikt op impact factor.
• U kunt nu gemakkelijk de Q1 van een Subject Category bekijken, via 'Select Categories', 'JIF Quartile'.
• U kunt met één druk op de knop zien welke titels open access zijn.

There's a new version of the Journal Citation Reports. The most important changes:

• The journals are automatically ranked by Impact factor within the Categories.
• You can easily view the Q1 of a Subject Category, via 'Select Categories', 'JIF Quartile'.
• With the help of one button, you can see which titles are open access journals 

Medewerkers  en studenten kunnen een complete lijst downloaden van de top-25% (Q1) tijdschriften van de medische categorieën uit de Sciences Citation Index (Journal Citation Reports) in Excel, op basis van de recentste impact factoren.

• Via Intranet op een UMCG werkstation
• U kunt ook een email sturen naar de CMB.
  NB. 1 De CMB mag deze informatie alleen beschikbaar stellen voor RUG/UMCG-medewerkers.
  NB. 2 De lijst bevat uitsluitend de Q1 titels (top 25%) van de JCR .

Staff and students can download a complete list of the top 25% (Q1) journals of medical categories from the Sciences Citation Index (Journal Citation Reports) into Excel, based on the latest impact factors.
