(Milwaukee, WI: June, 20th, 2018) - JCR Motorsports will race in their backyard as the Pirelli World Challenge series runs GTS rounds 6 and 7 at America’s National Park of Speed, Road America, a 4.048 mile, 14 turn circuit located just outside of Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, just 30 minutes from the team’s base.
Owner/Driver Jeff Courtney, coming off an incredible second place finish Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, is excited to get to his home track in the #99 Kenda/X-Analytics/RecStuff.com Maserati. “What’s not to like? Road America is a great race track! I am sleeping in my own bed, we have friends and family coming to the event and we are helping to raise money for a great cause. I am hopeful I can do my part in making it an exciting weekend for everyone,” said the JCR Motorsports owner/driver.
During the Road America weekend JCR Motorsports will also be racing for The Patriot Education Fund, a charity dedicated to helping military members and their families with education by offering scholarships and grants.
World Challenge goes back in time as the GTS and GT classes will race together once again with Race 1 going green on Saturday June 23rd at 4:35pm CT. Tune in as both races will be shown live on world-challenge.com, Youtube and broadcast on SiruisXM channels 383 and 983.
