About our facilitator:
Tekla Johnson, LLC, LCSW

Families deserve to experience connection, joy, and moments of ease as they create a sleeping and feeding rhythm that works for the entire family.

I have 15 years of experience working with families with young children, and am a Certified Doula and Master’s level Social Worker.  I have extensive experience providing a wide range of services to families with young children.

My own child experienced significant sleep challenges for more than a year.  I did not have access to the resources I would have liked during that time.  It is my goal to offer families the options, support and guidance that I myself could have used.
Another goal is to inform families about sleep and options to change sleep patterns.  I help families avoid sleep challenges, and if they have already arisen, reduce and eliminate unworkable sleep patterns that have not responded to other efforts or suggestions from family, friends, books or the internet.
I empower families to make the necessary changes to get the whole family sleeping, so everyone can enjoy their waking hours.
