Let your PASSION
In 2014, has PASSION intrigued you, challenged you, motivated you?
It was truly a month of reflection on the year as we successfully completed the 42nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 20 September, and then attended the exciting "I Dream, I Can" JCI Hong Kong 49th National Convention. As board reports are presented and adopted at AGM, I hope each Jayceettes can feel the BRILLIANCE
. It is each of your hard work and effort that made all the events and activities happened in the last nine months. Again, thanks to the support of all Past Presidents, Senators and Jayceettes for all your tremendous dedication. Nevertheless, the most important thing of the AGM was the successful election of our chapter's 2015 Board of Directors. I am very proud to see the full board elected and the shining passion, and very look forward to your "Care to Aspire, Dare to Inspire’’
year to make more brilliance.
Soon after, it was the National Convention and it was like chapters getting their 'report card' for the year. The JCI Hong Kong 49th National Convention (hosted by JCI North District) was successfully held. At General Assembly 3, our new member Vicki Chan (2015 Director Elect) was awarded JCIHK Networker Bronze Award for Summer Season on her good performance on chapter membership recruitment. Token of Appreciation certificates were also given to our member Susanna Lam for her contribution as NOM Project Chairman for "2014 Nothing But Coffee".
Of course, the GREATEST EXCITEMENT
was on Sunday night (28 September), when PP Winnie Tsang was presented JCI Senatorship and Jayceettes received 3 AWARDS
and 1 CERTIFICATE OF MERIT
at the Convention Ball. To revisit the happy memories of this National Convention, check out this slideshow video
Apart from awards, we also congratulate the successful election of 2015 National Board. Over the past year, on behalf of JCI Hong Kong Jayceettes, we thanks NVP Winnie Yeung and NAD Wendy So for their service to National Board and we are also happy to announce that member Tiffany Lee (2012 Honorary Secretary) will serve in National Board in coming year as National Corporate Communications Director.
I keep this message short and sweet this time, enjoy this issue of eSNAPSHOTS filled with many shining moments to recap. Now, let's celebrate at 45th Anniversary Banquet "Sapphires in Symphony" on Sunday, 19 October 2014 at The American Club, Tai Tam. I know we have already reached FULL HOUSE
including over 20 sister chapter delegates coming and very special VIPs attending. Hope to see you all at the banquet where we can celebrate!
