Quantum Foundation Strenghtens Adopt-A-Family Community

We are proud to share a high-impact grant announcement with our Adopt-A-Family community. The Quantum Foundation, the largest Palm Beach County funder in the area of health, has awarded Adopt-A-Family a 2-year grant award to fund a full-time licensed mental health therapist position.

This position will serve all families who reside in Adopt-A-Family programs at our Lake Worth campus. We send our gratitude to the Quantum Foundation for playing a significant role in strengthening the well-being of the community and the families we proudly serve!

Celedinas Insurance Group visits AAF for Check Presentation

On August 24th, Adopt-A-Family and Project Grow welcomed the phenomenal team from Celedinas Insurance Group for a check presentation in recognition of their national championship winning efforts in Pebble Beach.

We also had a very special visitor, Celedinas Insurance Group President & CEO (and long-time Adopt-A-Family supporter), Ray Celedinas! Pictured from left to right; Cachi Velez, Michael Katzenberg, Matt Constantine, Ray Celedinas, and Joe Carron. The group is pictured with students from Project Grow's K-1st grade class!

The AIG Private Client Group Invitational Championship winnings, in addition to the Team's Regional Championship at PGA National Resort & Spa, resulted in $70,000 raised for Adopt-A-Family!

Thank you Team Celedinas!

Dedicated Funders Support SEH Programming and Expansion

Earlier this summer, the tremendous BankUnited team visited Adopt-A-Family for a check presentation in support of Service Enriched Housing. We are humbled to receive BankUnited's continued funding support. Service Enriched Housing is an innovative homeownership incubator program that serves 28 families on-site at our Lake Worth Campus. Each participating family is dedicated to the pursuit of increased financial stability and homeownership. BankUnited is also a committed partner in providing financial literacy trainings for our families and students in Project Grow! Thank you BankUnited!

A generous and innovative grant from the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties this summer will allow Adopt-A-Family to rehabilitate two apartments on-site at our Lake Worth campus.  After renovations are complete, our Service Enriched Housing program will be expanding to serve two additional families! We look forward to showing our community before and after pictures later this year after renovations are complete.

Special thanks to the Community Foundation for playing a direct role in addressing one of our community's most pressing needs -- access to quality affordable housing.

Mack Insurance's "Chocolate for Charity" Benefits AAF Students

On Thursday August 25th, our friends from Mack Insurance Group  hosted "Chocolate for Charity" at their office in Boca Raton to benefit students in Adopt-A-Family programs. In all, dozens of school supplies were collected, including backpacks! Mack Insurance Group even surprised our staff with a brand-new Zootopia DVD to screen for AAF families during Movie Night the following evening!

Thanks to the incredible staff at Mack Insurance Group for always keeping our families in mind!
