This September, Adopt-A-Family honored long-time board member John Castronuovo, who has been involved with the agency for nearly two decades. Adopt-A-Family CEO, Matt Constantine, had this to share about John's dedication.

"Arts in My Backyard" Program with Project Grow

Project Grow student practice the process of fiber art

Project Grow students recently began "Arts in My Backyard," an innovative 10-week program sponsored by the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County in partnership with Resource Depot.

Our students are being taught by the experts at Resource Depot on how to utilize alternative art materials that have been diverted from landfills. They are simultaneously learning about recycling, up-cycling, and sustainable practices for a more "eco-conscious" future.

Adopt-A-Family staff celebrating the United Way Campaign finale

This October, we celebrated another week of giving in support of our funding partners, the United Way of Palm Beach County.

The week concluded with an adventurous scavenger hunt in Downtown Lake Worth, all in the spirit of giving back to the United Way. Special thanks to our 2016 campaign co-chairs, Jeanned'Arc Tousignant and Patrick McKenna. Perhaps most impressively, Adopt-A-Family staff once again hit its campaign goal of 100% participation in contributing to the United Way!
