PAULINE'S BLOG
My UFO list has grown!  I don't think I will ever get caught up!
I have completed a new wool applique crazy quilt wallhanging.  I call it "Clara Belle the Cow".
This crazy quilt was my first!  This wallhanging just kept evolving with so many ideas - I just went CRAZY!
I entered this wall hanging and a table runner into both the Meade County and Kentucky State Fairs  I am happy to say that I won First Place Blue ribbons for both pieces at Meade and State Fairs.
With all of the piecing and special embroidery stitches, it has lead me to want to create more pieces.  Although, I am starting with smaller pieces, I am now creating and publishing some pre-cut kits.  My first one is "My Pumpkin Patch"   I wlll be adding a page to my website for My Store.  Patterns will start at $10 and pre-cut kits $25.  I will be teaching the upcoming Wool Applique class using "My Pumpkin Patch" kit.  A special price for the kit is $15, instead of $25.  I hope you will signup for my class.

This summer I have been dyeing lots of wool for my wool applique kits.  I have over 20 patterns designed on paper and ready to start cutting, sewing, and publishing.  Please look for my works as they come available on my website.  Secret word for August "autumn".
Over the past several years, I have been test driving embroidery sewing machines.  Although, I could not afford a brand spanking new one, a very good friend sold me a Bernina 830 that had not been used.  I have been creating some interesting pieces with it. With adult coloring books being all the rage right now, Anita Goodesign has a collection called "Color Me With Stitches" . There are 20 different blocks that combines together embroidery and fabric painting.  These panels will be available for sell very soon at My Store.  The picture is a sample of a class I took earlier in the year.  (Another UFO to complete)  These panels can be created into a wall hanging, quilt, or pillows.  A pillow kit would make a great Christmas or birthday gift for an adult or child to create.
I keep a running list just to know what needs to be completed.  I encourage you to do the same, so on those days you are looking for something to do, pull out your UFOs.
UFOs to finish
- stippling and binding star oversize lap quilt (started in November 2016) STARTED STIPPLING
- finish stippling and bind two wall hangings for retreat house (started in January 2016) COMPLETED
