We've just re-opened following our winter break. Actually, when we say winter break, what we actually mean is it's not been much of a break at all as we've spent our third winter in a row doing lots of refurbishment.

Read on for details of what we've been doing in each room. As usual, one thing leads to another and we ended up doing a lot more than we first anticipated. Above is the glittering new look of the Broadsands Room. For more videos, and lots of updated photos, see the "Rooms" page on our website

We've continued with our awards success, and everyone we meet seems to have heard of us.

You'll remember that we were through as finalists to the South West Tourism Awards which covers a huge area including Somerset, Devon, Cornwall, Wiltshire, Gloucester, Dorset, Bristol and Bath.

We had a lovely evening at a black tie event and were delighted to win Gold for B&B of the Year category!

WINTER UPGRADES

We don't want to bore you, so in summary, as well as all rooms now having an iPad, heated bathroom mirror and a Nespresso coffee maker, we've also added

Air conditioning, new look furniture, bathroom flooring and wash stand, comfy chairs, desk seat, new bed and blind.

Goodrington Room -
Air conditioning, new bed, updated furniture, clothes rail, comfy seating, throw and cushions, lamps and a complete new colour scheme.

Broadsands Room -
Huge feature headboard with mood lighting, new bed, furniture and chairs, desk seat and fab glitter wall covering.

Watcombe Room -
New curtains and footstool.

Elberry Suite -
New painted furniture, larger super king bed and new bathroom flooring.

Torre Suite -
New comfy chairs and footstool.
