Farm Dreams Workshops
June 29, North Salem, Indiana, Blue Yonder Organic Farm
All workshops are from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Farm Dreams is a short workshop in which participants meet experienced sustainable farmers, learn about successful farm enterprises, and ask questions about local farm businesses. Farm Dreams covers resource assessment, goal setting, financial planning, and marketing options. New this year: each workshop will be held on a farm and include a farm tour. Registration is $30 per person. Register online and find more dates here!
 

 
Pat Schou, Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network executive director and former board member of Rural Partners, received the President’s Award from the National  Rural Heath Association. Pat was recognized as “a person who has been a lifetime advocate and champion of rural health, dedicating service to a wide spectrum of rural health causes, all with a spirit of compassion and grace.” Congratulations, Pat!

The Community Development Society has a history of encouraging community transformation through creativity and imagination. The CDS conference provides an excellent environment for community developers to share experiences, research, and strategies through a vast array of events including preconference workshops, panel sessions, keynote speakers, mobile learning workshops, poster sessions, networking receptions and presentations. Elements of creative expression will be infused throughout the 2015 CDS conference to highlight the conference theme.
