Nominations for the Illinois Governor’s Volunteer Service Awards are available at Online applications are accepted as well as paper. Now in its 7th year, the Governor’s Volunteer Service Awards highlights the service and impact provided by an individual or business. All nominees will receive a letter of thanks. The Serve Illinois Commission will host a ceremony to honor recipients on April 13, 2016 at the Old State Capitol in Springfield. Nominations are due by January 29, 2016.
Annie's Project – Farm Management for Women
February 16 - March 3, Tuesdays and Thursdays
6 - 9 p.m.

Annie's Project is a six-week farm management course offered by University of Illinois Extension at the Macoupin County Extension Office in Carlinville. It is a discussion-based workshop bringing women together to learn from experts in production, financial management, human resources, marketing, and the legal field. It's a relaxed, fun and dynamic way to learn, grow, and meet other farm and ranch women. Register online.
