Message From The Director
The importance of laughter in learning
Happy New Year! I hope your holidays were full of friends and family, joy and laughter.
Is there any happier sound in the world than a child’s giggle? Nothing entertains me more than hearing my nine-month-old son, Bennett, let out a good laugh (especially if I’m the reason for it). He’ll often giggle if you blow on his face, tickle under his arms, or when he sees a dog. Playing a little “peek-a-boo”—occasionally hiding a simple object, instead of my face—is always good for a laugh or two.
CMEE In The Studio
CMEE in the Studio,” is a new art class developed especially for children ages 2 to 5 years old. Designed to foster creativity, literacy, fine motor skills, and decision-making skills, the class runs from January 14 to March 25.*
Children ages 3 1/2 to 5 can be dropped off with advance registration.
Cost for the ten week series is $150 for members and $200 for non-members. One-time “drop ins” are $22 per class, space permitting.
