Message From The Director
A sincere thanks for making 2014 so special
My favorite part of the day is first thing in the morning when I go into the room of my son, Bennett. He pokes his head up above the crib and flashes me a smile that just takes over his whole face! I also love when I pick him up; he drapes his arms around my shoulders and taps his fingers on my neck. What a gift it is to hold your child. My wife and I have so much to be grateful for since he came into our lives this year.
Ciencia in the City
On Thursday, November 13th, families in CMEE’s after school science program for Spanish speakers–Ciencia en CMEE–headed to Manhattan to visit the American Museum of Natural History. The Museum's Exhibits and Visitor Experience Associate, Doug Borge, attended the field trip and might have had more fun that the families! "It was easily one of the most memorable experiences I've had while working at CMEE," he said. "To see the joy on their faces all throughout the trip is something I'll never forget. I'm still find myself smiling when I think about it." To see more pictures and learn more about the trip, click here.
