About the Poet: PJ Thomas

PJ Thomas grew up on Lake Ontario. She writes about the natural beauty of this area, as well as Peterborough County where she now makes her home. Ms. Thomas was a newspaper editor and arts administrator before she turned to write novels and now, poetry. Her first book of poems “Undertow” was launched October 7, 2020. Thomas's work is included in the 4th Line Theatre's 2021 Digital Festival of Light and Dark. She wrote the lyrics to three songs on the Juno-nominated new album “Solar Powered Too” by Rick Fines. Nine of her poems were showcased in the dance production, The Clarity of Brightness. Thomas’s poetry has appeared in The River Magazine, The Arthur Newspaper, The Link Magazine, and the Trent Annual.
