About the Poet: Patrick Gray

Patrick Gray was born in Toronto, raised in Markham, educated at U. of T. and Yale and has been a professor of religious studies and theology, holding posts at U. of T. (Trinity College), McMaster, and York. Patrick is an ordained priest in the Anglican Church, recently serving as an honorary assistant at St. Mark's, Port Hope. He has published arcane works on fifth- and sixth-century subjects. He has done a bit of oil-painting - one of his creations is on the cover of This Grace of Light, his published poetry collection. Patrick is now one of the members of the Cobourg Poetry Workshop of longest-standing.
