COLT's weekly land trust news

Monday January 16th, 2017

Even though they were closed much the week because of the snow, a staff person captured this lovely photo Columbia Land Trust's offices in historic Fort Vancouver last week.
Hi folks,

Hope everyone has been faring fairly well over the last week. We are still iced over in many parts here in Portland.

Couple of quick things first off:

NRCS just announced last week that they have $252 million available for the next round of Regional Conservation Partnership Program funding.  The application period is now open, and pre-proposals are now due by April 21st for FY18 funding

Quite related, and for those who haven't registered yet, COLT is hosting an upcoming webinar on January 25th from 12-2pm on RCPP: Funding Land Conservation with RCPP. Follow the link to learn more.

And now on to the rest of this week's news, including another excellent season of webinars from the Land Trust Alliance, and some great new conservation jobs in Oregon and beyond.

Best wishes for a warming (and not to flood inundated) week,

Mike Running
Communication and Outreach Manager
