Dear SFN Advisory Board Members,
We would like to clarify that AB members are exempt from paying the registration fee for the annual SFN Symposiums (apologies if you have received erroneous emails requesting for payment). Please still register if you are coming so we can plan for catering.
Additionally, could we please have your response by the 25th February for the following three items:
1) The next AB meeting is scheduled to take place in the early evening of Thursday, 28th March, at St John's College, Cambridge, to coincide with the main SFN Symposium. The agenda will be circulated early March. Please let Jenny know if you are coming and if you have any issues you would like to be added to the agenda. Unfortunately, we cannot offer financial assistance for travels.
2) The SFN speakers dinner is scheduled for after the AB meeting on the 28th March. This will be formal dinner at St John's college, to be paid for by fund-raising efforts by the SFN team for AB members wishing to attend. We require confirmed numbers by the 25th of February, so please let us know if you would like to come by then.
3) The next newsletter will come out in early March. If you have any news items, please send to to us as early as possible. In particularly, we are open to doing a 'feature' of your research institution (similar to Tony Harriman's feature in the last issue). Please get in touch if you would like something similar.
