We are pleased to announce that SFN members are eligible to apply for the following international conference funding scheme, which is managed by the SuperSolar Hub. When applying, please make clear you are part of the SFN when returning the form to Sharon.
SuperSolar International Conference Fund
The EPSRC SuperSolar Hub has established a fund to assist postgraduate research students and post-doctoral research assistants to present their work at international conferences.
We will contribute up to £500 towards the cost of your RA or PhD attending an international conference for those who have an oral or poster presentation accepted at a suitable conference.
Applications are considered on a first-come-first-served basis and the number of awards is limited. Your RA or PhD can apply to the fund subject to their paper being accepted. Please note that SuperSolar will fund 80% of the total cost up to a total contribution of £500. Applicants must be registered/employed at a UK university and must be SuperSolar network members and have the support of their supervisor.
