Memorial Day Weekend -

Saturday, May 23rd -
We need help placing flags at the burial sites of our veterans at Warren Smith cemetery in Jacksonville Beach on Saturday, May 23rd. If you are able to help please arrive at the cemetery no later then 8 am. Flags will be provided by Post 129.
Monday, May 25th -
9 am: All Post 129 members are invited to join us for a short moment of remembrance ceremony at Warren Smith cemetery.
2 pm: Post 129 will have a Memorial day open house starting at 2 pm. The Post will be providing hams and are asking that members bring covered dish to share.
Tuesday, May 26th -
We will need help picking up the flags at the Warren Smith cemetery starting at 8 am.

Mark your calendars and plan on joining us for our famous Country Boil Saturday, May 23rd starting at 5 pm. All proceeds to go towards the Croaker Tournament. Reserve your dinner today by signing up at the canteen.

The band Trunk Monkies will be here to entertain us from 530 pm to 930 pm. This is one of our new bands so be sure to come on up and check them out. Also we will hold steak bingo that evening directly following the Queen of diamonds raffle.

We at Post 129 are proud to announce that the annual Croaker tournament is back! Thank you for considering fishing with us this year.

We are hoping to make this year's tournament the biggest and best ever. Please tell your neighbors and all of your fishing friends to please consider joining us in October.

Please join us in our American Legion Post 129 Saturday golf. It is a ninehole captains choice/best ball theme. We play at Jacksonville Beach Golf Course. Our first t-time is approximately 11:15am. For more information please visist our website.

We will start having I love my Post clean up days on the third Saturday of each month starting with May 16th. This month we are looking for volunteers to come in and help us wipe down the walls and shelves within the main canteen area. We will be starting at 9 am and will be done no later then 11 am.

Attention all American Legion Riders there will be a meeting this Saturday at 10 am.

Come on out and support your Post 129 softball team this Sunday at Wingate Field in Jacksonville Beach. We will take on Post 316 and see if we can keep up our winning streak! Game starts at 11:30 am

We are planning a group event to check out a Armada soccer game on Sunday, June 7th.

We will have a bus pick us up at Post 129 and take us down to the game so no one has to worry about driving in the city or parking. Plan on joining us this will be a trip you do not want to miss!

Cost for the ticket and the bus are only $36 per person!
