Auxiliary Meeting
at 7 pm

The Auxiliary will be holding their annual children's Christmas party on Saturday, December 13th. All children under 10 years old are invited!

So sign up those kids and grand kids. Please signup as soon as possible if you are planning on attending because Santa has to have time to make the toys! There will be crafts, games, and even a visit from Santa!

Queen of Diamonds Raffle Jackpot is almost $23,000!!! Tickets can only be bought on Saturday evenings. Tickets will be on sale until 645pm. Drawing will take place at 7pm.

It's that time of year! Please bring in a new and unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots! Please bring in your donations as soon as possible. There is a donation box in the canteen area. 
We need everyone to help this year with Christmas cards for our troops. Our first round of cards is about to go out and we are still 100 cards short!

Please grab some Christmas cards and fill them out for our troops. It's easy just write an encouraging message. Just let them know how much we appreciate their sacrifice. 

Please drop cards off at the Post by the end of the week. 
 The Commander and President for the Department of Florida will be having dinner here at American Legion Post 129 on Saturday Night, December 6, Cocktails at 6 and Dinner directly after the Queen of Diamonds drawing.  All are invited.  Let us show the honor guest that our members do know how to treat our guest.  A sign up sheet in under the menu at the kitchen door.  Cutoff is Thursday after the General Meeting

Dinner Menu: 
Seasoned Baked Chicken or Baked Fish served with homemade macaroni and cheese, steamed vegetable medley and garlic bread.

Dave will be Serving Lunch!
 Monday through Friday 11am to 3pm

Chicken Tender Basket
Hand breaded chicken tenders served with choice of fries or chips and BBQ sauce.
 
Beef Burrito
Hand wrapped burrito stuffed with ground beef, refried beans, and cheddar cheese served with a side of Spanish rice.
 
Creamy Chicken and Vegetable Soup
Homemade creamy chicken and vegetable soup served with croissants.
 
Burger of the Week: Old School
All beef burger patty topped with cheese, pickle, mustard, and mayo served with your choice of fries or chips.

 
Please Note : Dave will also be cooking his lunch menu on Monday nights unless otherwise noted.

Dave will be cooking this lunch menu Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights as well as a nightly dinner speical.

Friday, December 5th - Group Therapy
The Legion will be serving up Country Fried Steak served with mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, roll and dessert. Steak Bingo will be held at 630 pm. 

Evening - Saturday, December 6th
Queen of Diamonds Raffle / Bike Night / Department Dinner
 The Queen of Diamonds raffle will be held at 7 pm.

Sunday, December 7th
The breakfast crew will be hard at work from 9am until noon.
New Year’s Eve will be the same as it has been for a few years. Group Therapy will be here to entertain us from 830pm to 1230am. There will NOT be a seat or cover charge this year. It is a no fuss party.

There will be party favors and we will put out some munchies around midnight but other than that it is just come, party, drink, and dance! No dinner will be available that evening. We are requesting that if possible everyone brings in some snacks to share.
Please join us for the first annual American Legion Post 129 Golf Tournament to benefit our Boys and Girls State programs on Saturday, January, 24th 2015. 

We have a great day of golf at the beautiful Jacksonville Beach Golf Club in Jacksonville Beach, FL. The event will include a 4-person shotgun scramble, golf cart, range balls, lunch, arrival gifts, and a awards dinner following the golf.

We will also need a lot of volunteers to help with the tournament. If interested, give me a call or send me an email. Candace Mabry will be heading up the tournament. We hope to have 100-140 golfers. — Sterling Phaklides (904) 294-4234 or sterling1960@comcast.net
