Cabane's large garage sale is this weekend May 9th and 10th.

Donations for the garage sale can be dropped off at the Post anytime this week.

The garage sale will be open to Legion family on Friday from 2pm to 9pm and open to the public on Saturday from 7am to 1pm. They will also have Home-made Baked Goods and yes Pretzels for sale.

Hooked on Fishing was canceled due to weather. The event will be rescheduled for June.

This will be Richard's last week cooking lunch for us, as he has much to do before heading up north. But don't fret we still have you covered! Dave will be taking over for Richard in the Kitchen during the week.

Dave has worked in restaurants for over 16 years and is excited to bring that experience and passion here to Post 129.

Please show your support and continue to swing by the Post for lunch! I will post his menu as soon as it is available.

Mixed Greens, with Virginia Baked Ham, Hickory Smoked Turkey, Smoked Gouda, Swiss cheese, Tomato, Cucumber, Olives, and a Hard Boiled Egg

Wanda and Jerry will be serving up Cheeseburgers in Paradise!

Wednesday, May 7th
Danny will be serving up a Hawaiian Sampler. Two Spring Rolls, Fried Rice, and Adobo Musubi for $5.00

Thursday, May 8th
Joe and Kathy will be serving up dinner but at this time I do not know what dinner will be but I'm sure it will be wonderful!

Friday, May 9th - ALR
This is one of Richard's last dinners and you are not going to want to miss it! He will be serving up a plate full of Pork!

Dinner will include Cuban Style Mojo Pulled Pork and Boneless Grilled Pork Chops served with Mango Pineapple Salsa, Rice, Grilled Vegetables, and Dessert all for only a $8 donation.

Sunday, May 11th
The Breakfast crew will be hard at work serving you up fantastic meal from 9am to noon.

Sunday, May 25th
The sign up sheet is up for the Memorial Day Train Crawl. Please sign up as soon as possible so we can ensure that everyone on the crawl gets a T shirt. Cost for the shirt and the crawl is $20.

We have Saturday 9-Hole Golf and now we have Tuesday 9-Hole Golf at Jacksonville Beach Golf Club.

Join us for our new Tuesday morning 9 hole golf league. Fees are great for the seniors (65 & up) 9 holes, $14.26 with cart or walk for $6.21, Non seniors will pay $20.96 with cart or walk for $12.89.

It will be a scramble format with first t-time at 12:04pm. Bob Fowler will need to know who is playing the next Tuesday by Friday of each week. Please contact Bob Fowler at: bobfowler47@bellsouth.net or call 904-813-2023

Monday, May 26th
Post 129 will be hosting the Memorial Day service at the Beaches Veterans Memorial Park and will start at 1400 hrs. Please come out and show your support for this special event. The ROTC will be doing drills and the flag presentation.

Mark your calendars!!!

June 7th the Auxiliary is bringing back the Miss Post 129 Pageant!! This is an event that I promise you will regret if you miss!
