Monthly Lottery Pool
For the month of September we had 19 people join the monthly lottery pool. Tickets have been bought and are attached as well as copies behind the bar for anyone in the pool.
If we are not Millionaires by the end of the month all minor winnings will be rolled into scratch off tickets that will be bought and scratched on Sunday, October 1st at 5 pm.

We have the volunteers set up to run the tournament and will work out the details this month and most likely begin at the beginning of October. I'll keep you posted.

Football season is right around the corner! Remember we are your front row ticket to the game! With the NFL ticket and Nine Large Flat Screen TV's you will never miss a play by your favorite team! The ALR will be back in the kitchen serving up their famous wings so plan on making Post 129 you football headquarters.

We are ironing out the last of the details for our Hurricane Harvey Relief Fundraisers. So more information to follow soon. I can tell you that all money raised during the month of September will be going towards the fund including Friday night dinners, steak bingo, Sunday breakfast, 50/50, and monthly raffles. This Post has committed to help in any way we can the residents of Rockport, TX,
September 30th will be the big fundraiser so save the date as soon as we get the last of the details figured out I will give you all the information. To make this as successful as possible we will need all of your help not only to participate but also to get the word out. More information to follow soon.

Saturday, September 30th
The Bloodmobile will be onsite here at The American Legion Post 129 starting at 11 am on Saturday, September 30th.
Every minute of every day, someone needs blood. That blood can only come from a volunteer donor, a person like you who makes the choice to donate.

SAL Raffle - September
The SAL will be holding their raffle this month for a bag of cash. All proceeds will go towards the Hurricane Harvey relief fund. Tickets are $5 for one ticket, $10 for three tickets. Winner will be drawn at our open house on Saturday, September 30th.

New dart league begins on Tuesday, September 19th. Registration at 6 pm, Regular play begins at 7 pm. Must be a member in good standing to participate.

From everyone who filled out the survey and everyone I have talked to there is more than enough interest for us plan a group cruise. I am working on the details now and should have more information for you in the upcoming weeks. Nothing is set in stone yet but we are looking at April of 2018.

Post 129 is proud to host the Lion's club Bark-tober fest for the 3rd year.
Please join us for a Fun filled evening of Fellowship to support this outstanding organization! Enjoy a night out featuring Great Food, Music and dancing, Raffles, Door prizes and more ! Dinner will be catered by Carrabba's Italian Grill and musical entertainment provided by the the Kenny Holiday Band, featuring tribute artists Rod Stewart and Mick Jagger.
