This Thursday night is meeting night. We hope to see you all at the Post. SAL Meeting at 6 pm, Auxiliary Meeting at 7 pm, E Board at 630 pm, and General Meeting at 730 pm.

November Raffle - Bag of Cash!
Our bag of cash raffle is back! This year only bigger! There will be three winners this year.  

We are giving away almost $400 cash this Wednesday and only a few of you have bought tickets. 

This raffle is for a good cause and who couldn't use more money this time of the year!

So please come on up to the Post and get your tickets today! Any bartender will be happy to help you. Only two days left to do so. 

All proceeds from this raffle will be used to send care packages to our troops. 

Raffle tickets are $5 for one ticket, or $10 for three. 
New dart league begins Tuesday, December 6th. Registration at 6 pm. Must be a member in good standing to play. 
We had a great time last week with Bob and Diane Pratt with amazing singers!

So stop on by this Wednesday and join in on the fun. After all you don't have to work on Thursday! 
Friday, December 23rd - Mele Kalikimaka Party
The Auxiliary will be holding an event on Friday, December 23rd. More details to follow but it's shaping up to be a fun night so mark your calendars. 
Annual Christmas Eve Party! 430 pm to 730 pm
You are invited to join us to celebrate the holiday season with good friends and good cheer!
 
Kitchen will be closed so we are asking that everyone brings a covered dish to share!

This year at our Annual Christmas Eve Party we will be holding the white elephant gift exchange again. 

So bring a gift and join the fun, there will be something for everyone. We ask that everyone brings a a gift of ten dollars in value. Re-gifting is strongly encouraged. The more outrageous the gift, the better.

To participate you and your wrapped gift must be at the Post by 5 pm
Mark your calendars and start experimenting the Post annual chili cook off will be held on Saturday, January 14th. More details to follow. 
Rescheduled for the January  Meeting
Attention all Legion Members: It has been determined that the Post will vote in the January Legion meeting on whether or not to continue to be a smoking facility. The vote will take place on Thursday, January 5th at the regular Legion meeting at 730 pm. All Legionnaires are encouraged to attend and place there vote.  
Friday, December 2nd
Services for Sam Malone will be held on Friday, December 2nd at the National Cemetery at 1030 am. Celebration of Life to follow at Post 129. 

Covered dishes in form of side dishes and desserts requested. 
Sunday, December 18th
All kids under the age of 9 years old are invited to join us for the  Auxiliary's Annual Children's Christmas Party on Sunday, December 18th. Sign up at the Post as soon as possible. Event runs from 1030 am to 1 pm, with a special visit from Santa at 11 am. 
Sunday, January 29th
We are in the planning stages of our Second Annual Shut up and Drink Tour! Our plan is to visit Post 233, Post 137, Post 88, and Post 283. The tour will begin and end at Post 129. 

This was a great event last year and everyone had a fabulous time! So mark you calendars this is a day that you will not want to miss.

Plan on celebrating the New Year with us here at Post 129 we always have a great time and always have a few surprises in store for the evening. The Maybees will be here to entertain us from 8 pm to 12 pm. There will NOT be a cover charge this year. It is a no fuss party.

There will be party favors and a champagne toast at midnight but other than that it is just come, party, drink, and dance! No dinner will be available that evening. We are requesting that if possible everyone brings in some snacks to share.

The SAL will be cooking up a Steak dinner complete with baked potato, veggie, and a roll for only $10!

Wings for a $6 donation. Our menu may change from time to time depending on the availability of our main cooks.

Please join us in our American Legion Post 129 Saturday golf.  It is a nine hole captains choice/best ball theme.  We now have over 40 players signed up to play on Saturday Mornings. We would love to have you join us.
