American Legion Post 129
This year at our Annual Christmas Eve Party we will be holding a white elephant gift exchange.

So bring a gift and join the fun, there will be something for everyone. We ask that everyone brings a a gift of ten dollars in value. Regifting is strongly encouraged. The more outrageous the gift, the better.

To participate you and your wrapped gift must be at the Post by 5 pm.

December 15th to December 21st
Post 129 is proud to be hosting the benefit ride for Braiden's Courage this Saturday, December 19th. Registration begins at 10 am, Kick Stands Up at 11 am. 

What is Braiden's Courage? Braiden is a six year old boy who is going through the fight of his life. Braiden was a healthy, happy boy until he was brought to the hospital complaining of stomach pains. What should have been a routine visit to the ER wound up with a terrifying discovery. He is very sick and needs your help.

We are raising money to ease the tremendous cost that will go along with the treatment of his fight. 
Saturday, December 19th
Christy will be serving up New York Strip Steaks with Pasta Salad for only a $7.00 donation. Dinner starts at 530 pm.
New Year’s Eve will be the same as it has been for a few years. Double Shot will be here to entertain us from 830pm to 1230am. There will NOT be a seat or cover charge this year. It is a no fuss party.

There will be party favors and a champagne toast at  midnight but other than that it is just come, party, drink, and dance! No dinner will be available that evening. We are requesting that if possible everyone brings in some snacks to share. 
Thanks to all who participated in the Auxiliary silent auction.  The baskets were terrific and the buyers had bidding wars going on all evening. Working together we accomplish success for  Post 129 and our community. On  Dec. 4th "We Rocked"! 
We will be holding our annual Chili cook off on January 16th. So start cooking and experimenting with those wonderful Chili’s

Yes we will be open on Christmas Day! JD & Christy have volunteered to work. We will be opening at 10 am and closing when business declines.

Christy and Alex will be in the kitchen this week for football serving up Gator Bites, Fish & Chips, and Smoked Sausage. So be sure to stop on in and grab some lunch! 
 
Please join us in our American Legion Post 129 Saturday golf.  It is a nine hole captains choice/best ball theme.  We now have over 40 players signed up to play on Saturday Mornings. We would love to have you join us.
