Shut Up & Drink Tour - Sunday, January 29th

Buses have been reserved, Route has been set, and shirts have been ordered! Once again we have a great crowd coming for this tour and can not wait for the day to arrive.

If you missed the deadline but still want to join there is still time. Shirt choices will be limited since the order has already been placed but we will do our best to accommodate all requests.

There are only a handful of spots left though so the time to sign up is now! Cost is still $20 per person. Please see your bartender to sign up. 

Remember we leave at noon sharp and are unable to delay the trip for late arrivals so please plan accordingly.

Sunday, February 5th - Super Bowl Party!!

If you have been here in past years you know that there is nowhere better to watch the big game! Join us on Sunday, February 5th for our annual Super Bowl party!!!

Food buffet only $10 per person. Please sign up early so that we have an idea of the amount of food that we need to purchase. Buffet includes buffalo chicken, pulled pork, hot dogs, nachos, soft pretzels and more!!! If you reserve your spot by January 29th you will also receive a free drink at the party (up to $2.50 value).

Plus a 50/50 raffle that will be drawn at half time. Come on in for your chance to win! 
Tuesday, February 14th - Special Valentine's Day Dinner
Love is in the air! We're romancing you and your sweetheart this Valentine's day with our mouthwatering special dinner. Our cooks will be hard at work in the kitchen preparing you a surf and turf dinner complete with baked potato, vegetable, and dessert. 

American Legion Post 129 is the perfect place to celebrate with your sweetie, by yourself or with the entire family! So mark your calendars, reservations will be available shortly. 

This dinner will take place in the back hall with special musical entertainment by Pat Rose. 
Uncle John is coming out of retirement one last time! This is a meal you are not going to want to miss! Uncle's John fried chicken dinner includes Wing, Leg, Thigh, and Breast. No Substitution. First come, first serve so plan on getting here early! 
Shuffleboard Table is Finished!
Special thanks to Don Stickles for his hard work on refinishing the shuffleboard table. The table looks beautiful and we have been getting rave reviews.

We now need all of your help to make sure it stays beautiful. Please do not use the table to hold purses, drinks, food or anything else. If you see anyone placing anything on the table other than the shuffleboard pucks please politely asking them to remove it or let your bartender know. 
Attention all Legion members
Please note that the General meeting will be moved to the first Wednesday of the month for the months of February and March. 
High Roller LCR!!!
Due to scheduling conflicts High Roller LCR will be rescheduled for a date in February. In the meantime continue to join us on Thursdays for our regular weekly game. 
Chili Cook Off
Thank you to everyone who participated in our chili cook off and everyone who came out to support the event. Once again our judges had a difficult time picking the winners as all the entries where wonderful. Congratulations to our winners! Third Place - Wayne Price, Second Place - Rick Miller, and First Place - Carla Quimby. 
Our Auxiliary is collecting small toiletries for a mission hose dinner our Post and John Caputa's church is hosting on February 26th. Please place all donation is the auxiliary room marked Mary Ellen. Thank you in advance for your donations.

It was voted at last week's meeting that Post 129 will continue to permit smoking in the canteen. 

Please know that we appreciate every member that came out to cast their vote on this issue. It was one of the most well attended meetings we have seen in a long time.

Please join us in our American Legion Post 129 Saturday golf.  It is a nine hole captains choice/best ball theme.  We now have over 40 players signed up to play on Saturday Mornings. We would love to have you join us.
